About the Role
As our
Dementia Ambassador / Trainer
, you'll be a trailblazer in transforming dementia care across our organisation. This high-impact, standalone role (reporting directly to our COO) sits within the
Learning & Development team
and will work closely with operational teams to embed national standards, best practices, and quality training in all our services.
You'll design and deliver engaging training programmes, mentor staff and dementia champions, and support continuous improvement through audits, coaching, and hands-on support.
What You'll Do
Deliver and develop best-in-class dementia care training
Mentor, coach and support staff across all levels
Standardise and improve dementia practices organisation-wide
Work alongside teams to embed learning and model excellent care
Drive quality improvement, innovation, and knowledge sharing
Act as the expert voice on complex dementia care matters
What You'll Bring
Extensive experience in training delivery and staff mentoring within Care and Dementia
Relevant qualification (e.g., Dementia Care Mapping, Level 3/5 Health & Social Care)
Deep knowledge of national dementia care strategies and best practice
Excellent communication, coaching and influencing skills
Digital literacy and ability to use e-learning and data tools
A full UK driver's licence and willingness to travel
