Dental Administration Support Part Time

Job Description

This role will require supporting our Dental Referral Co-Ordinator in the day-to-day operations of our Dental Referrals team within the Oxfordshire Community Dental Service.



The post holder will be a crucial part in the team to ensure the smooth and efficient processing of referrals but also involves dealing and actioning various queries from patients, carers, and professionals. Additionally, you would be expected to manage various administrative tasks to support the wider service, including our Senior Management Team.



While this will be your primary role, we also require that you provide support as a dental receptionist across our Dental Clinics. This could be to accommodate leave, sickness, or other absences should this be required. Your ability to adapt and step in as needed will be invaluable in maintaining our high standards of service.



Strong administrative and reception experience, including use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and dental software.



Skilled at managing multiple priorities (calls, patients, admin duties) while working under pressure and meeting deadlines.



Excellent communication and telephone manner, with experience interacting with patients (including those with additional needs).



Team player with flexibility, attention to detail, and commitment to confidentiality.



Previous NHS and dental environment experience, including handling cash and banking procedures.
