New Patient Coordinator to join our friendly team at

, a modern private dental surgery. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is motivated by delivering excellent patient experiences.
The New Patient Coordinator is responsible for managing new patient enquiries, front-of-house duties, and administrative support to ensure a smooth and professional patient journey. The role includes booking appointments, following up leads, taking payments, and supporting diary efficiency while working towards agreed targets.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday
Between
8:00am and 8:00pm
(shift-based within these hours)
Key Responsibilities
Act as the first point of contact for new and existing patient enquiries.
Provide professional, welcoming front-of-house reception support.
Follow up new patient leads in a timely and confident manner.
Book, amend, and manage patient appointments efficiently.
Take payments accurately and in line with practice procedures.
Manage dental diaries to minimise gaps and improve productivity.
Liaise with clinicians and team members to support excellent patient care.
Maintain accurate physical and electronic patient records.
Answer telephone calls professionally with excellent customer service.
Update reporting spreadsheets, enquiry logs, payment tracking, and invoices.
Support general administrative tasks as required.
Work towards individual and team performance targets.
Skills and Experience
Previous experience in a dental, healthcare, or patient-facing administrative role is preferred.
Experience using Dentally software is advantageous but not essential.
Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
Confident, friendly communication style with patients and colleagues.
Professional telephone manner.
Motivated and comfortable working towards targets.
