Job Description

We are a group of three growing, mixed NHS/private dental practices seeking a highly capable and experienced Finance & Strategy Manager to oversee and drive our financial operations and support strategic business decisions.

The Role

This is a hands-on and varied role ideal for someone with prior experience in healthcare or multi-site financial management. You'll be responsible for managing all finance-related tasks across the practices, including payroll, supplier management, cashflow, monthly reporting, budgeting, and more. In addition, you'll play a key role in supporting business growth by gathering and analysing data to inform our strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee payroll processes for dentists and staff Manage invoice and bill payments Manage daily cashing up Prepare and deliver monthly financial reports and forecasts Create and manage budgets Negotiate and review supplier deals Support financial planning and strategy with data and insights Work closely with the owner and practice managers to improve financial efficiency and profitability

What We're Looking For

Proven experience in a finance role, ideally in the healthcare or dental sector Experience managing finances across multiple sites Strong analytical and reporting skills Confident working independently and taking ownership Excellent organisational and communication skills A proactive, solutions-focused approach

Working Pattern

3 days per week (flexible schedule) Hybrid role: part remote, part in-practice across our Essex locations
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From 27,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 24 per week
