About the Role



An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated

Dental Hygienist

to join our friendly team for 1-2 days per week.

We're looking for a caring and motivated hygienist who is passionate about prevention and patient education and high-quality care. You'll take pride in providing gentle, thorough care and helping patients feel confident about their oral health.

You are confident (or willing to learn) in

administering local anaesthetic, taking impressions, performing teeth whitening, and promoting restorative or cosmetic treatments.

You are experienced in caring for patients with

severe periodontal disease

. You are skilled in supporting

nervous or anxious patients

. You deliver care that is both

thorough and gentle

.

Key Responsibilities



Conduct oral health assessments and record accurate patient histories. Perform dental cleanings, including

scaling, root planing, and polishing

. Apply preventive materials such as

sealants and fluorides

, as appropriate. Educate patients on

oral hygiene techniques and post-treatment care

. Maintain detailed and accurate

clinical and patient records

. Ensure

infection control and sterilisation

standards are always met. Collaborate with

dentists and dental nurses

to provide exceptional patient care.

Requirements



Minimum

2 years' experience

as a Dental Hygienist.

Extensive periodontal hygiene experience

essential. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

GDC registration

(required).

Right to work in the United Kingdom

(required). Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently

Qualifications



Current Dental Hygienist licence

(GDC registered).

Degree

in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program.

CPR/BLS certification

. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to patient education and comfort.
