Job Description

We are a highly motivated, dedicated and passionate full-service dental laboratory based in Ilkeston, Derbyshire, servicing excellent dentists both locally and nationally. We pride ourselves in being at the forefront of the digital revolution within dentistry and now require a Laboratory Assistant to aid with the digital aspects of the laboratory.

The Dental Laboratory Assistant role includes:

Using 3D printers to print the CAD designs produced by our dental technicians. Basic CAD designing of dental models. Maintaining 3D printers which will include basic cleaning of printers. Maintaining cleanliness of Crown and Bridge department. Distributing cases to correct departments throughout the day. Casting dental models from impressions and duplicating dental models.
Thorough and robust training will be provided for each process. Whilst no previous dental laboratory experience is required, some knowledge of 3D printing is preferred but not essential.

Motivated and have an excellent work ethic. Eager to learn new skills, able to follow instructions and to adapt/learn quickly. Possess a keen eye for detail. Able to work well within a team and excel in a fast-paced and at times, high pressured environment. Able to work independently and take a pro-active approach to all tasks.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
