Part time trainee dental nurse/receptionist required .Flexible on days, every other Saturday, can increase days in future.

Must be focused, reliable and a team worker.

A fully private practice located in the Midlands seeking an eager and friendly applicant to take up the role of an apprentice dental nurse.

Supported by an experienced and qualified team, you will be assisting the dentist and hygienist in chair-side treatments, as well as fulfilling decontamination duties. You will work within the team to ensure a smoothly run practice, so good communication skills and a friendly, positive attitude are a must! You will need to be punctual and have good time keeping, as well as excellent attendance.

This is a patient-facing role, where you will be expected to build up a good rapport with patients to help them feel at ease when attending appointments. Strong time management is also essential, as well as a good initiative and the ability to multitask, all whilst staying organized. You will have help and support during your training period to ensure you can meet these standards.

Flexible working hours; 16 - 30.5 hours per week . There is the possibility of ongoing employment and further development following completion of the dental nursing qualification.

We will provide the successful candidate with the Level 3 Dental Nurse apprenticeship standard, which includes:

Level 3 Diploma in Dental Nursing Level 2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required) End-Point Assessment (EPA) On the job training
Please note that, due to the nature of work involved, it is a legal requirement to have a course of Hepatitis B Vaccines and a clear enhanced DBS.
