Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse Apprentice to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout their treatment. As a Dental Nurse, you will work closely with dentists and other healthcare professionals, contributing to a positive patient experience and maintaining the efficiency of the practice.

Responsibilities

Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and readily available. Provide chairside support to patients, ensuring they feel comfortable and informed throughout their treatment. Maintain accurate patient records, including treatment plans and medical histories. Sterilise instruments and maintain a clean and organised clinical environment in accordance with health and safety regulations. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Manage appointment scheduling and patient communications effectively. Participate in continuous professional development to stay updated with the latest dental practices and technologies.

Qualifications

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members. Attention to detail and excellent organisational skills are crucial for maintaining high standards of care. Previous experience in a dental practice is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided in association with Walsall College . A proactive attitude towards learning new techniques and procedures in dentistry.
