We are seeking a dedicated Trainee Dental Nurse to join our Dental practice to work on Wednesdays and Thursdays. The ideal candidate will be providing exceptional patient care, assisting the dentist during procedures, and ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic. This position requires strong organisational skills, effective communication abilities, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and patient comfort.
Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during examinations and dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments are prepared and sterilised.
Provide excellent patient care by reassuring patients, explaining procedures, and addressing any concerns they may have.
Maintain accurate patient records and update information as required.
Manage appointment schedules efficiently to optimise patient flow within the clinic.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including infection control protocols.
Perform administrative tasks such as managing inventory of dental supplies and equipment.
Communicate effectively with patients and team members to foster a positive environment.
Qualifications
Trainee Dental Nurse registered with a Dental Training course with at least 2 Hep-B vaccination. Please don`t apply if you don`t meet the above criteria.
Qualified Dental Nurse with relevant certification or diploma.
Proficient in English with excellent communication skills to interact with patients and colleagues effectively.
Strong IT skills for managing patient records and scheduling software.
Exceptional organisational skills to maintain an orderly work environment.
Previous experience in a dental practice is preferred but not essential; a willingness to learn is key.
