We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dental practice (Cardigan Dental). The successful candidate will provide essential support to the dental team, ensuring patients receive high-quality care in a comfortable environment. Duties

Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring all instruments and materials are prepared and sterilised appropriately Provide patient care before, during, and after dental treatments, ensuring patient comfort and safety Maintain accurate patient records using IT systems, updating details as required Offer clear communication to patients regarding treatment procedures, post-treatment care, and oral health advice Ensure the clinical environment is clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety standards Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient correspondence Adhere to infection control protocols at all times to maintain a safe clinical environment

Qualifications

Proven experience in patient care within a healthcare or dental setting is desirable but not essential for internship roles Good command of English, both written and spoken, to communicate effectively with patients and team members Basic IT skills for managing electronic patient records and administrative tasks Strong communication skills with the ability to reassure and educate patients effectively Organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy clinical environment Relevant nursing qualification recognised within the UK healthcare system is preferred for experienced candidates
