Responsibilities

Assist dentists during various dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and sterilised. Provide support to patients, including explaining procedures, ensuring their comfort, and addressing any concerns. Maintain accurate patient records and manage appointment schedules efficiently. Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of the dental surgery, adhering to infection control protocols. Support administrative tasks such as updating patient information and managing stock levels of dental supplies. Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to uphold a safe environment for staff and patients.

Skills

Proven experience in patient care within a healthcare setting, preferably in dentistry. Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to explain procedures clearly and empathetically. Knowledge of nursing practices relevant to dental care. Basic IT skills for managing electronic health records and appointment systems. Excellent organisational skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work effectively as part of a team, demonstrating professionalism and attention to detail.
