Job Description

We are looking for a friendly and motivated individual to join our established NHS/Private dental practice in the heart of Cheltenham.

The ideal candidate will be a reliable team player with a positive, can-do attitude and a genuine interest in patient care. Previous experience in a dental or healthcare setting is preferred, but full training will be provided for the right candidate.

Duties



Assist dentists during various dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials prior to appointments Provide patients with pre- and post-treatment care instructions Maintain accurate patient records using IT systems and ensure confidentiality at all times Sterilise and disinfect dental instruments and equipment in accordance with health and safety regulations Support with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient correspondence Offer compassionate patient care, addressing concerns and providing reassurance throughout treatments Uphold high standards of infection control and health & safety protocols within the practice

Experience



Previous experience in a dental or healthcare environment is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with patients and team members Proven organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy clinical setting Basic IT literacy for maintaining electronic patient records and scheduling systems A caring attitude with excellent patient care skills, demonstrating empathy and professionalism at all times Ability to work well within a team, demonstrating strong communication skills and adaptability

Pay: 24,420.00-38,720.02 per year
