Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our a well-established dental practice with a long-standing loyal team in North London.

Our ideal candidate will be qualified with a minimum of 2 years' experience and registered with the GDC. Fully immunised (Hep B) and DBS checked with the right to work within the UK and a good command of the English language. You must be committed to maintaining the highest standards within both your role and the practice. Experience using Dentally systems would be highly beneficial but not essential. Reception duties would also be a bonus.

We are unable to accept a trainee dental nurse or an overseas qualified dentist for this position.

Start - Beginning of January but willing to wait a notice period for the right candidate.

Salary 15.00 to 19.00 per hour.

Duties

Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, ensuring smooth workflow and patient safety Prepare treatment rooms and sterilise dental instruments in accordance with health and safety standards Provide pre- and post-treatment care instructions to patients Ensure patient comfort and address any concerns or queries with professionalism and empathy Maintain accurate patient records using IT systems, ensuring confidentiality at all times Organise appointment schedules and manage patient flow efficiently Support with administrative tasks such as stock management and ordering supplies Uphold high standards of infection control and hygiene throughout the practice

Qualifications

Proven experience in patient care within a dental or healthcare setting is desirable Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written Knowledge of nursing principles applicable to dental care Proficiency in IT systems relevant to dental practice management Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively Good interpersonal skills, demonstrating empathy and professionalism with patients and team members Relevant dental nursing qualification or certification is preferred but not essential for entry-level candidates willing to train on the job

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 15.00-19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 45 per week
