Job Description

We're looking for an experienced dental nurse to join our team in Croydon.

Dental nursing experience is required for this role but training will be given, so you understand how our Practice works because we understand each Practice runs differently.

We have a great mixed team of specialists, Hygienists & Dentists. Our staff are long-term standing staff where a lot of our nurses & reception team have been with us for over 5+ years.

The hourly rate depends on your experience.

The days required will be:



From the 3rd of November - 2 days per week:

Mondays & Tuesdays (Either 8am to 5pm or 9am to 6pm)

From the 1st of December - 4 days per week

Mondays & Tuesdays (Either 8am to 5pm or 9am to 6pm)

Thursdays & Fridays 8am to 5pm

Includes a 1 hour unpaid lunch break

There is the potential of overtime during busier periods & holiday cover etc.

Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting the dental team in delivering high-quality services. As a Dental Nurse, you will assist with various clinical procedures, maintain accurate medical records, and ensure compliance with health regulations.

Duties



Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow. Provide patient care by preparing treatment rooms and sterilizing instruments. Manage inventory of dental supplies and equipment, ensuring availability for procedures. Collaborate effectively with the dental team to enhance patient experience and care quality. Stay informed about advancements in dental practices and technologies.

Qualifications



Proven experience as a Dental Nurse or in a similar nursing role is preferred.. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and staff. Ability to demonstrate compassion and empathy towards patients. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Certification in Dental Nursing or relevant qualifications is an advantage.
