Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic team. As a vital member of our dental practice, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our dental professionals. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional service to our patients.

Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring the comfort and safety of patients. Prepare and sterilise dental instruments and equipment in accordance with health and safety regulations. Maintain accurate patient records and update information as required. Communicate effectively with patients to explain treatment plans and procedures, addressing any concerns they may have. Manage appointment scheduling and follow-up calls to ensure optimal patient flow within the practice. Provide post-operative care instructions to patients, ensuring they understand their aftercare requirements. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a smooth operation of the practice, contributing to a positive work environment.

Qualifications

Qualified Dental Nurse with relevant certification or diploma. Strong IT skills for managing patient records and scheduling systems. Excellent organisational abilities to maintain an efficient workflow within the practice. Outstanding communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and colleagues. A genuine commitment to patient care, demonstrating empathy and professionalism at all times. Previous experience in a dental setting is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.

We currently have both full time and part time roles available

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship

Pay: 13.65-16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 40 per week
