Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental services. As a Dental Nurse, you will assist the dentist during procedures, manage patient records, and contribute to a welcoming environment for our patients.

Duties

Assist the dentist during examinations and various dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available. Maintain accurate patient records and update them as necessary, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations. Provide excellent patient care by reassuring patients, explaining procedures, and addressing any concerns they may have. Manage appointment schedules and coordinate with patients for follow-up visits or treatments. Ensure that all dental equipment is cleaned, sterilised, and maintained according to health and safety regulations. Support the administrative team with tasks such as filing, answering phone calls, and managing correspondence as needed. Maintain records re audits and general admin

Skills

Strong communication skills in English to effectively interact with patients and team members. Proficiency in IT skills for managing patient records and scheduling software. Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. A background in patient care, demonstrating empathy and understanding towards patients' needs. GDC registration as a dental nurse is essential.
