Pilrig Dental Practice.

We are a general dental practice providing NHS and private dentistry. We are an independent practice with 2 dentists/owners, 1 associate dentist and dental nurses providing a helpful and friendly atmosphere to work in, where teamwork is a top priority. We offer good work hours with no late evening opening. The practice has an easily accessible location, close to the city centre - only a 15 minute walk from Princes Street. There are good public transport links to the practice and we are beside the Newhaven Tram line.

We are looking for a dental nurse to join our hardworking and friendly team for apart time position.

This is to provide maternity cover for one of our dental nurses.

The job contract will start in January 2026.

Responsibilities and Duties

Pilrig Dental Practice is a long established family practice providing NHS and Private treatment, committed to providing quality care to out patients in a relaxed atmosphere.

The maternity cover position will be offered on a part time basis (Monday to Friday), hours to be negotiated.) We would be ideally looking for a nurse to work Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

The practice opening hours are

Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 8.30-4.30

Tuesday, 8.30-5.30.

Salary will be determined by qualification and experience

Qualifications and Skills

We are happy to accept applications from student nurses reaching the end of their course, or newly qualified nurses.
