Summary

We are seeking a Dental Nurse to join our friendly team at Horton Dental Practice in Epsom. This vital role involves supporting our dentists and ensuring our patients receive exceptional care, contributing to our mission of promoting oral health and patient satisfaction. The hours are 08:00 - 18:00 and currently the days are flexible as we may offer 1x full time position or 2 x part time positions depending on the candidates.

Responsibilities

Assist dentists during examinations and procedures to ensure smooth operations. Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize equipment in accordance with health and safety standards. Provide excellent patient care, offering reassurance and information as needed. Maintain accurate patient records using our IT systems. Support the practice team with administrative tasks to ensure efficient workflow. Adhere to all infection control protocols and health regulations. Promote a welcoming environment that reflects the practice's values of professionalism and compassion.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Dental Nurse or similar role within a dental setting. Excellent communication skills in English. Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail. Knowledge of dental procedures, sterilization techniques, and health & safety standards. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Relevant nursing qualifications or certifications preferred. Proficiency with IT systems used in dental practices is advantageous.
