The Opportunity:

Due to opening an additional surgery, we are able to offer a unique opportunity for a qualified dental nurse to join a friendly, close-knit team working in a modern, supportive, fully private, non-corporate practice in the beautiful Cornish town of Falmouth. The practice is located a 10 minute walk from Gyllyngvase beach and is surrounded by plenty of free parking.

We would like you to start in January or February 2025.

What we need from you:

We need you to be hard working, well organised, flexible, enthusiastic, and contribute to the running of the dental practice. We need you to help us to go above and beyond for our patients. We also need you to go above and beyond to help the rest of our team. There will be a requirement to work some evenings (you will have the mornings off), and work occasional shifts on reception to cover holidays.

GDC registration and indemnity are required. Knowledge of Software of Excellence and experience in private practice would be a great help. Implant experience would also be a benefit.

Pay -

If you meet our requirements, we will pay minimum 15 per hour.

Hours -

7 hours paid per day, Monday - Friday with a 30 minute unpaid break each day. We would consider a 4 day Monday to Thursday role.

Holidays -

5 weeks plus bank holidays.

Shifts -

We operate two clinics; in the morning from 7:45am - 1:45pm , and the afternoon from 2:00pm - 8:00pm. Our dental nurses work three different shifts:

- 7:30am - 3:00pm (30 minutes unpaid break)

- 10:30am - 6:00pm (30 minutes unpaid break)

- 12:45pm - 8:15pm (30 minutes unpaid break)

Flexibility -

You will not be required to work more than two 12:45pm - 8:15pm shifts per week but we require flexibility within the role to cover other employee holidays. Your provisional work pattern will be

Monday: 12:45pm - 8:15pm

Tuesday: 7:30am - 3:00pm

Wednesday: 12:45pm - 8:15pm

Thursday: 7:30am - 3:00pm

Friday: 10:30am - 6:00pm (optional)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 27 - 35 per week
