Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dental practice. The successful candidate will support dentists during procedures, ensure patient comfort, and maintain high standards of hygiene and organisation within the clinic. Responsibilities

Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort. Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials prior to appointments. Sterilise and maintain dental instruments in accordance with health and safety regulations. Provide patients with pre- and post-treatment instructions, addressing any concerns they may have. Record patient information accurately in the dental records system using IT tools. Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records. Ensure the clinical environment is clean, organised, and complies with infection control protocols. Communicate effectively with patients, providing reassurance and answering general queries about treatments.

Skills

Strong patient care skills with a compassionate approach towards patients of all ages. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Knowledge of nursing principles relevant to dental care and practice procedures. Proficiency in IT systems for record keeping and appointment management. Organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently within a busy environment. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while maintaining attention to detail. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 12.21-13.50 per hour
