Job Summary



Are you a proactive and highly experienced dental nurse looking for a practice that values your clinical expertise and leadership?

We are seeking a skilled, dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our client's thriving, mixed NHS and Private dental practice in Cheshire!

The successful candidate will support dentists during clinical procedures, ensure patient comfort, and maintain the smooth operation of the clinic.

Hours:

41 hours over 4.5 days.

4 days 8am-6pm

1 day 8-1 (not set)

Cosmetic/Implant experience preferred but not essential.

Must be GDC registered.

(Rate is dependent on experience and post qualifications)

Duties



Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and sterile. Provide high-quality patient care, including explaining procedures, offering reassurance, and ensuring patient comfort throughout treatments Prepare the surgery before appointments, including sterilising equipment and setting up necessary instruments. Maintain accurate patient records in accordance with practice protocols and data protection regulations Support with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing patient correspondence, and updating records using IT systems Adhere to health and safety standards, including infection control procedures Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions

Qualifications



Proven experience in patient care within a dental or healthcare setting is desirable. Good command of English, with excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members Basic IT skills for managing electronic health records and appointment scheduling Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Recognised qualification in dental nursing and GDC registered Ability to work well within a team, demonstrating professionalism, empathy, and attention to detail
