Overview

As one of our nurses is moving away, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate dental nurse to join our mixed NHS and private dental practice! The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care while assisting the dental team in delivering high-quality treatments. This position requires strong organisational skills, effective communication abilities, and proficiency in IT systems to ensure smooth operations within the practice.

Duties

Assist dentists during various dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilising instruments and ensuring all necessary materials are ready for use. Maintain accurate patient records and update information as required using practice software. Provide support to patients by explaining procedures and answering any questions they may have regarding their treatment. Uphold strict hygiene and infection control protocols in accordance with regulatory standards. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a high standard of care is maintained at all times.

Qualifications

Qualified Dental Nurse with GDC registration (CDUK covers this cost). Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Dentally system, is advantageous and in house training will be provided. A compassionate approach to patient care, demonstrating empathy and understanding towards patients' needs.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From 14.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40.00 per week
