Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Nurse to join our Specialist dental service to work on Saturdays only. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, assisting the dentist during prosthodontic procedures, and ensuring the smooth operation of the dental clinic.

Duties

Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared in advance. Provide excellent patient care by reassuring patients, explaining procedures, and addressing any concerns they may have. Maintain accurate patient records and manage appointment schedules efficiently. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the dental practice. Sterilise instruments and maintain cleanliness in the treatment areas to uphold hygiene standards. Collaborate with the dental team to improve patient experience and streamline clinic operations. Utilise IT systems for record keeping and appointment management effectively.

Qualifications

Qualified Dental Nurse with relevant certifications or equivalent experience. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and colleagues. A compassionate approach to patient care, demonstrating empathy and professionalism at all times. Proficiency in IT systems related to dental practice management is desirable but not essential.

Pay: 14.00-16.00 per hour
