Full-Time Dental Nurse - NHS & Private Dental Practice

Salary:

13.50 per hour

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-Time Dental Nurse to join our friendly and professional mixed NHS and private dental practice in Hendon. This position is suitable for a GDC-registered Dental Nurse or a Trainee Dental Nurse who is eager to develop their skills within a supportive clinical environment.

About the Role

You will support clinicians across both NHS and private treatments, helping to deliver high-quality patient care while maintaining excellent clinical and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Chairside assistance during NHS and private dental procedures

Preparation and maintenance of surgeries in accordance with CQC and HTM 01-05 standards

Instrument sterilisation and strict adherence to infection control protocols

Providing pre- and post-treatment advice and patient reassurance

Accurate clinical record-keeping using dental practice management systems

Supporting appointment scheduling and administrative tasks

Ensuring a professional and caring patient experience at all times

Candidate Requirements

GDC-registered Dental Nurses: Current GDC registration with up-to-date CPD

Trainee Dental Nurses: Willingness to enrol in or currently undertaking a recognised dental nursing qualification

Excellent communication skills in English

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

Ability to work effectively as part of a team
