Dental Nurse (Part-Time - Thursdays)

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate

Dental Nurse

to join our friendly and dynamic dental team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified or trainee Dental Nurse who is passionate about patient care and looking to work in a supportive practice environment.

The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality patient care, assisting the dentist during procedures, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the practice.

Key Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments, ensuring all instruments and materials are prepared in advance Provide exceptional patient care by reassuring patients and addressing any concerns Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using dental IT systems Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations, infection control protocols, and practice policies Support appointment scheduling and patient follow-up communications Maintain a clean, organised, and well-prepared dental surgery Participate in continuing professional development to stay up to date with best practices

Requirements

Qualified Dental Nurse or experienced trainee with relevant training or certification Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English A genuine passion for patient care and creating a positive patient experience Confidence using dental practice IT systems (advantageous but not essential) Ability to work well within a team while remaining self-motivated
