Job Description

We are looking for a qualified or newly qualified Dental Nurse. The position is on Monday, Thursday and Friday 0830 - 1730, with the possibility to increase days. You would be working between our Ilkley and Skipton Practices.

Skills & Attributes.

You will ideally have minimum of 6 months experience and qualified as a Dental Nurse Able to managing a diary. The ability to communicate effectively within a team with a positive, proactive approach. Professional, Enthusiastic, self-motivated, organised, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Confident Passionate about your job Maintain professional indemnity and registration with the GDC Undertake CPD in line with the GDC guidelines Knowledge of CQC and policy compliance Excellent clinical and interpersonal skills
Proficient user of dental software and Microsoft programme. We use Dentally

Strong teamwork ability with an enthusiastic attitude Up to date Vaccinations
Main duties to include;

Providing clinical chair-side support to clinicians, responding quickly to requests and generally keeping the surgery ready for use Providing excellent patient care Looking after patient records - including making notes when the dentist/hygienist is examining a patient, supply full treatment plans to patients. Uploading images and Xrays Maintaining dental operating equipment Ensuring that all relevant materials and supplies are in place within surgeries and Decon Room
