Eden Dental Clinic is excited to announce that we are looking for a new member of staff to join our longstanding, happy team in our independently owned dental clinic.

The right candidate will be friendly, reliable, a good team player and play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care while assisting the dental team in delivering high-quality services in a relaxed and supportive environment.

As a Dental Nurse, you will ensure that patients feel comfortable and informed throughout their treatment, while also maintaining an efficient and organised clinical environment.

We are looking for someone to fill a part-time position, open to qualified candidates or experienced trainee nurses.

Salary is dependant on the person and relevant experience.

Responsibilities



Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available. Provide excellent patient care by welcoming patients, explaining procedures, and addressing any concerns they may have. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, ensuring all information is up to date and compliant with regulations. Sterilise instruments and maintain cleanliness in the surgery and surrounding areas in accordance with health and safety protocols. Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care. Manage appointment scheduling and follow-up calls to ensure patient attendance and satisfaction. Utilise IT systems for record keeping, appointment management, and inventory control of dental supplies.

Requirements



Qualified Dental Nurse or willing to consider an experienced Trainee Dental Nurse. Strong patient care skills with a genuine desire to help others feel at ease during their dental visits. Proficient in English with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with IT systems used in dental practices is advantageous. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
