The successful candidate will assist dentists during procedures, provide excellent patient care, and ensure the smooth operation of the clinic. This role offers an opportunity to develop your skills within a professional healthcare environment, contributing to the delivery of high-quality dental services.
Responsibilities
Prepare treatment rooms and sterilise instruments in accordance with health and safety regulations
Assist dentists during various dental procedures, including setting up equipment and handing instruments
Provide pre- and post-treatment care instructions to patients
Ensure patient comfort and address any concerns or queries with professionalism and empathy
Maintain accurate patient records using IT systems and update details as required
Support with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient files
Uphold strict hygiene standards throughout the practice
Educate patients on oral health and hygiene practices effectively
Skills
Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Good IT skills, including familiarity with dental software
Effective interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and team members
Dental nursing qualification
Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
Welsh speaking advantageous
