Assist dentists during examinations and treatments, ensuring all necessary instruments are prepared and sterilised. Provide excellent patient care by reassuring patients and addressing their concerns before, during, and after procedures. Maintain accurate patient records and update information as required. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including infection control protocols. Manage appointment schedules efficiently to optimise patient flow within the practice. Support administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing inventory of dental supplies. Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment plans and follow-up care instructions. Collaborate with the dental team to enhance the overall patient experience.

Requirements

Qualified Dental Nurse with relevant certification or diploma in nursing. Strong patient care skills with a focus on empathy and understanding. Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, to communicate clearly with patients and colleagues. Familiarity with IT systems for managing patient records and scheduling appointments. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and team members. Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in a dental setting is advantageous but not essential; a willingness to learn is key.
