Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dental practice. The successful candidate will support dentists during procedures, provide excellent patient care, and ensure the smooth running of daily operations. Duties

Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and sterilised. Provide high-quality patient care, including explaining procedures, offering reassurance, and ensuring patient comfort throughout treatments. Maintain accurate patient records using IT systems, updating treatment notes and appointment schedules efficiently. Ensure the clinical environment is clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety regulations. Support with administrative tasks such as appointment scheduling and managing patient enquiries. Adhere to infection control protocols and assist in sterilisation processes to uphold hygiene standards. Educate patients on oral health care routines and post-treatment instructions.

Skills

Strong patient care skills with a compassionate approach towards patients of all ages. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and team members. Basic IT skills for managing electronic health records and scheduling systems. Good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment. Knowledge of nursing practices within a dental setting is desirable but training will be provided for suitable candidates. Ability to work well within a team, demonstrating professionalism and attention to detail at all times.

Pay: 15.00-18.00 per hour
