Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dental practice either Full Time or Part Time. The successful candidate will provide essential support to dentists, ensure patient comfort, and maintain high standards of hygiene and organisation within the clinic. Duties

Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and sterilised. Provide compassionate care and support to patients before, during, and after treatments. Maintain accurate patient records and manage appointment scheduling efficiently. Ensure the cleanliness and sterilisation of dental equipment and treatment rooms in accordance with health and safety regulations. Offer guidance to patients on post-treatment care and oral hygiene practices. Support administrative tasks such as updating patient information using IT systems. Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals to ensure smooth clinic operations.

Requirements

Proven experience in patient care within a healthcare or dental setting is desirable. Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to explain procedures clearly to patients. Strong organisational skills to manage appointments, records, and equipment efficiently. Knowledge of nursing practices relevant to dental care is preferred. Basic IT skills for maintaining electronic health records and scheduling systems. Ability to work well within a team, demonstrating professionalism, empathy, and attention to detail. A recognised qualification in dental nursing or related field is advantageous but not essential for internship positions. Pay: 13.00-15.50 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 38 per week
