Job Description

We are looking for a Part-Time Dental Nurse to join our busy dental clinic located in Bermondsey, London.

Position Details

Part-time:

20 hours per week

Hourly rate:

18 - 20 (depending on experience)

In person / on-site

Welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner Manage patient appointments and maintain the appointment schedule accurately Answer phone calls and emails, directing enquiries appropriately Maintain and update patient records Support administrative tasks such as filing, document management, and data entry Ensure the reception and clinical areas are tidy, organised, and professional at all times

Dental Nurse - General Clinical Responsibilities

Provide

chairside assistance

to the dentist during treatments Prepare treatment rooms before and after clinical sessions Clean, sterilise, and maintain instruments in line with infection control procedures Provide patients with relevant pre- and post-treatment information Monitor and manage stock levels of dental equipment and materials Work in accordance with

HTM 01-05

and clinical hygiene standards Assist with radiography, note-taking, and updating patient records (within scope of competence)

Requirements

Minimum

3 years' experience

as a Dental Nurse (essential) Hands-on experience working with patients in a clinical environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organisational skills with great attention to detail Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical setting A team-oriented, patient-focused approach
