Responsibilities

Assist dentists during various dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety Prepare treatment rooms with the necessary instruments and materials prior to appointments Sterilise and maintain dental equipment in accordance with health and safety standards Provide patients with pre- and post-treatment care instructions Record patient information accurately within electronic health records (IT skills beneficial) Support administrative tasks such as appointment scheduling and patient correspondence Ensure the clinical environment remains clean, organised, and compliant with infection control protocols Communicate effectively with patients, addressing queries and providing reassurance throughout their visit

Experience

Previous experience in a dental or healthcare setting is essential Strong patient care skills with a compassionate approach towards individuals of all ages Good command of English, both written and verbal, to communicate clearly with patients and team members Basic IT skills for managing electronic records and administrative tasks Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently Effective communication skills to liaise confidently with patients, dentists, and colleagues
