Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dental practice for working Evenings & Weekends. Our Practice is Open 7 Days a Week & 365 Days for Year for Emergency and General Dental Care.

The successful candidate will provide essential support to dentists and ensure patients receive high-quality care in a comfortable environment. The Dental Nurse will be responsible for assisting with clinical procedures, maintaining hygiene standards, and ensuring the smooth operation of daily practice activities.

Responsibilities

Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including examinations, fillings, and extractions Prepare treatment rooms and sterilise instruments in accordance with infection control protocols Provide patient care before, during, and after treatments, ensuring patient comfort and reassurance Take and develop dental radiographs as required Maintain accurate patient records using IT systems Manage appointment scheduling and organise patient files efficiently Provide oral health advice and post-treatment instructions to patients Ensure the clinical environment adheres to health and safety standards at all times Support administrative tasks such as stock management and ordering supplies

Qualifications

Proven experience in patient care within a dental or healthcare setting is desirable Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members Good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently Knowledge of IT systems relevant to dental practice management Fluency in English, both written and spoken recognised qualification in nursing or dental assisting is preferred but not essential for internship positions Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 15.00-17.00 per hour
