We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our team. Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available.
Provide chairside support to patients, ensuring their comfort and addressing any concerns they may have.
Maintain accurate patient records and update information as required.
Sterilise instruments and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Manage appointment scheduling and maintain an organised clinic environment.
Communicate effectively with both patients and the dental team to ensure seamless operations.
Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in dental nursing.
Assist at reception when required.
Assist in the new laboratory.
Requirements
Qualified Dental Nurse with relevant certifications or equivalent experience.
Proficient in English, both spoken and written, to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
Strong IT skills for managing patient records and scheduling systems.
Demonstrated ability in patient care, showing empathy and understanding towards patients' needs.
Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently within a busy clinic setting.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated when required.
Previous experience in a dental practice is preferred but not essential.
