Duties

Assist dentists during various dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and sterile Provide excellent patient care by offering reassurance and explaining procedures clearly Maintain accurate patient records using IT systems and ensure confidentiality at all times Prepare treatment rooms before appointments, including sterilisation of equipment and ensuring cleanliness Support with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient correspondence Adhere to health and safety protocols, including infection control standards Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless service delivery Monitor patient comfort throughout treatments and respond promptly to any concerns or emergencies

Qualifications

Proven experience in patient care within a healthcare environment, preferably in dentistry or nursing Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written Knowledge of IT systems relevant to healthcare settings for record keeping and administrative tasks Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail Relevant nursing qualification recognised within the UK healthcare system is desirable but not essential for entry-level roles A caring attitude with a commitment to providing outstanding patient care
