We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental practice. As a Dental Nurse, you will be responsible for assisting during dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining an organised and efficient clinical environment.

Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments are prepared and ready for use. Provide excellent patient care by reassuring patients and addressing their concerns before, during, and after treatments. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with practice protocols. Ensure the cleanliness and sterilisation of dental instruments and equipment following health and safety regulations. Manage appointment schedules efficiently, coordinating with patients to ensure timely visits. Communicate effectively with both patients and team members to foster a positive working environment. Participate in continuous professional development to stay updated with the latest dental practices and technologies.

Qualifications

Relevant nursing qualification or certification as a Dental Nurse is essential. Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively within a busy practice environment. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact confidently with patients and colleagues. A background in IT is beneficial for managing patient records and scheduling systems. A genuine passion for patient care with a focus on providing high-quality service. Previous experience in a dental setting is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
