Dental Nurse (qualified, Trainee Or Apprentices Welcome)
Job Description
We are looking for a qualified / trainee Dental Nurse to join our friendly, family dental practice. The ideal applicant will have good communication skills, be able to work well as part of a team, have a positive work ethic, and be up-to-date with current standards. Punctuality and good attendance will be expected.
We're based in the lovely village of Great Baddow, and comprise a team of 5 Dentists, 1 Orthodontist, 2 Hygienists, 6 Qualified and 1 Apprentice Dental Nurse, 2 Receptionists and a Practice Manager. We hold regular team meetings, and focus monthly on making the practice a nicer place to work in, and a more caring place to treat patients.
Nursing Candidates will be expected to provide full nursing support to our Dentists, follow all our infection control policies, help the team maintain surgery stock, and help on the reception desk when needed.
Satisfactory criminal record clearances will be required and immunisation against Hepatitis B, and COVID vaccines.
Qualified nurses should be GDC registered, however Indemnity cover will be provided. Apprentices and Trainees are welcome to apply.
Working hours will be Mon - Thurs 08:15 - 17:45 and Fridays 07.45-15:15. We require a commitment of between 3 - 5 days per week.
The salary will be dependent on experience level.
