What you'll do

Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, utilizing your knowledge of dental instruments and techniques. Maintain accurate medical documentation, including patient histories, treatment plans, and progress notes. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality and privacy. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care to promote long-term health. Manage inventory of dental supplies, ensuring that all necessary materials are readily available for procedures. Collaborate with the dental team to streamline operations and enhance overall clinic efficiency. Stay updated on medical terminology and advancements in dental care to provide informed support.

Experience

Proven experience in nursing or a related healthcare field is preferred. Strong understanding of anatomy and physiology relevant to dentistry. Familiarity with medical records management and documentation standards. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality is maintained at all times. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and team members. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A positive attitude with a passion for providing outstanding patient care.
