Thatch House Dental is hiring an experienced Dental Receptionist/Dental Nurse

This role will be to carry our day to day tasks as a Dental Receptionist with occasional Dental Nursing, supporting the team, working with a very experienced team of dentists, hygienists and nurses.

Job Type

: Part-time, Wednesday 8:30-17::30, Thursdays 8:30-17:30, Friday 8:30-17:30 (one hour unpaid lunch break)

Pay:

Pay is subject to experience, we are very competitive and open to discussion regarding hourly rate.

To be considered for this role you must have:

The ideal Candidate will be:

GDC registered Fully Immunized (Hep B) Have a minimum of 1 year of chairside experience Experience with SOE is desirable (training can be provided) Advance their knowledge within the dental industry
Extra Qualifications would be great but not essential, the hourly rate is competitive based on experience

Responsibilities will include:

Managing the diary Maintaining patient recalls Handling payment for patients Answering the telephone and communication with patients Checking Labwork in and out Other administrative duties Managing emails Prepare and maintain the clinical environment, including the equipment Carry out infection prevention and control procedures Record dental charting and oral tissue assessment carried out by other registrants Prepare equipment materials and patients for dental treatments, hygienist and radiography Process dental radiographs Monitor, support and reassure patients Perform the following additional procedures on prescription from or under the direction of, another registrant if qualified to do so: Take radiographs

Wednesday, Thursday and Friday Weekend availability (on call basis Rota) Occasional cover of the late shift on a Thursday until 7pm
Ability to commute/relocate:

Northamptonshire/Long Buckby: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Occasional cover at our sister practice in Kibworth
Licence/Certification:

Valid GDC registration (required)
