We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental practice. As a Dental Nurse, you will assist in various dental procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow within the clinic while maintaining high standards of hygiene and patient comfort.

Responsibilities

Assist dentists during examinations and treatments, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared in advance. Provide excellent patient care by reassuring patients, explaining procedures, and addressing any concerns they may have. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, utilising IT systems effectively for data entry and management. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including infection control protocols. Organise appointments and manage the dental schedule efficiently to optimise patient flow. Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a collaborative approach to care. Participate in continuing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge within the dental field.

Experience

GDC Qualified or close to completion

Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, are required for effective interaction with patients and team members. Demonstrated organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. A background in nursing or healthcare is advantageous, along with familiarity with IT systems used in medical settings. A commitment to providing high-quality patient care with empathy and professionalism is essential for this role.
