We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dental practice on part time basis. The ideal candidate will support dentists during patient procedures, ensure excellent patient care, and maintain a clean and organized clinical environment. Responsibilities
Assist dentists during examinations, treatments, and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and setting up necessary equipment.
Provide patient care by explaining procedures, answering questions, and offering reassurance.
Manage medical documentation accurately, including updating patient records and treatment notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Maintain cleanliness and sterilization of dental tools and work areas following infection control protocols.
Monitor patient vital signs as needed and assist with emergency situations when required.
Ensure compliance with all health and safety standards, including proper disposal of medical waste.
Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing medical records.
Qualifications
Proven experience in patient care within a dental or medical setting preferred.
Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to dentistry.
Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality of patient information.
Strong skills in medical documentation and record keeping.
Certification or training as a Dental Nurse or related healthcare qualification is preferred.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to reassure patients and work effectively within a team.
