We are seeking a dedicated and personable Dental Nurse or Trainee Dental Nurse, who can also works at reception when needed, to join our supportive and friendly team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a caring nature and passion for patient care. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a welcoming environment for our patients while efficiently managing administrative tasks. This position requires excellent communication skills, strong organisational abilities, and a passion for patient care.
Responsibilities
Assist dentists and hygienists with patient care and treatment procedures
Prepare, sterilize and maintain dental equipment and instruments
Provide exceptional patient care and communication
Ensure high standards of infection control and hygiene are maintained.
Manage appointment scheduling and confirmations, ensuring an efficient flow of patients throughout the day.
Maintain patient records with confidentiality and accuracy, ensuring all information is up-to-date.
Work in friendly environment
Process payments and manage billing inquiries in a professional manner - reception
Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining an organised reception area - reception
Handle patient inquiries via phone and in-person, providing accurate information regarding services and procedures. - reception
Requirements
Excellent communication and patient care skills
Reliable, professional, strong team player
Experience
Previous experience in a dental or healthcare setting is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
Strong communication skills in English are required to effectively interact with patients and staff.
A background in patient care or nursing is advantageous but not mandatory.
Proficiency in IT systems and software relevant to dental practice management is desirable but not essential; training will be provided.
Excellent organisational skills are essential to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
