Job Description

We have a position available for a Full-time Trainee/Qualified Dental Nurse to join our multi award winning dental team at Harrow Weald Dental Practice.

Role Details: This is a full-time position consisting of 5/6 days/week on a permanent basis with a competitive salary. The practice is open Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm and Saturdays 9am-2pm. MUST BE ABLE TO WORK ON A SATURDAY WHEN NEEDED.

Who we are

We are a well-established mixed dental practice that provides a full range of NHS and private dental treatments. We offer a wide range of treatment, which includes general and cosmetic dentistry, hygiene, periodontal, implants, endodontics, whitening and Invisalign. We are a fully equipped and computerised dental practice with 6 surgeries, we use Software of Excellence and have digital imaging throughout the practice with a supportive and friendly team.

Ideally a Qualified Dental Nurse, but happy to consider an experienced Trainee Dental Nurse with minimum of 6 months experience. Requirements: - GDC Registered Dental Nurse -preferred or trainee nurse.

Trainee Dental Nurse needs to be enrolled on a approved dental nurse course and have a minimum of 6 months experience. Proficient user of dental software (SOE used in the practice) - preferred Experienced in providing chair side assistance, patient assistance, charting, instruments sterilisation and decontamination and assisting with general dental procedures as a minimum. Computer literate Excellent communication -verbal and written Have a 'Can Do Attitude' Hardworking, organised, reliable and punctual

Harrow Weald Dental Practice is looking for a Dental Nurse to join our team!



As a Dental Nurse, you will be responsible for the pre-operative and post-operative dental care of our patients. We are looking for a Dental Nurse who is passionate about providing excellent patient care and customer service.

Job duties:


Prepare and deliver treatment to patients before their examination by the dentist/doctor.



Select the appropriate equipment and material for the treatment according to the patient's condition. Ensure that all patients are seen and treated in accordance with the standards of quality and safety. Inform the doctor about any symptoms or trends that require immediate action. Arrange for medical treatment if it is needed for an injured patient or one who cannot be seen at certain times due to an illness, injury or medication regimen. Document all patient care in the electronic medical record. Provide education and information to patients about their oral health needs and products. Keep work areas clean and organized. Attend continuing education sessions on appropriate products and techniques in dental care.
Experience:

Dental Care: 1 year (Preferred); Salary dependant on experience.

Pay: 11.50-14.00 per hour
