Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Dental Nurse to work 3-5 days at our mainly Private / Denplan dental practice in Aldridge. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care while assisting dentists during various procedures. This position requires a strong commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and patient comfort, as well as effective communication with both patients and staff.

We offer Implants, Smile Makeovers and Invisalign. We are the offical dentist to a Premiership football club.

GDC registration and idemnity paid.

Duties

Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments, ensuring that all necessary instruments and materials are prepared in advance. Provide excellent patient care by reassuring patients, explaining procedures, and addressing any concerns they may have. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, ensuring that all information is up-to-date and compliant with regulations. Manage the sterilisation of instruments and maintain a clean and organised work environment. Presentable appearance and good conscientious working attitude. Support the administrative tasks within the practice, including scheduling appointments and managing patient enquiries. Utilise IT systems for record-keeping and appointment management effectively. Collaborate with other dental professionals to ensure a seamless patient experience. Excellent time keeping.

Qualifications

A recognised qualification in dental nursing is preferred but not essential. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and colleagues. Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment. Previous experience in patient care within a healthcare setting is highly desirable. Confident speaking with patients about products/treatments. (knowledge of Denplan preferred but not essential)
