Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety. Prepare and sterilise instruments and equipment in accordance with health and safety regulations. Maintain accurate patient records and assist with administrative tasks as needed. Provide excellent patient care by addressing concerns, answering questions, and ensuring a positive experience. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Manage appointment scheduling and follow-up communications with patients. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth operations within the practice.

Qualifications

qualified dental nurse must be GDC registered . Traine dental nurse must be enrolled on a course. Proven experience in patient care within a healthcare setting is highly desirable. Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, is required for effective communication with patients and team members. Strong IT skills for managing patient records and scheduling systems. Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Outstanding communication skills to foster positive relationships with patients and colleagues.
