We are seeking a motivated and caring individual to join our team as a Trainee or Qualified Dental Nurse.

Responsibilities

Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, ensuring smooth and efficient operations Prepare treatment rooms by sterilising instruments and ensuring all necessary equipment is ready Provide excellent patient care by offering reassurance, explaining procedures, and addressing concerns Take and develop dental X-rays as required, adhering to safety protocols Maintain accurate patient records using IT systems, ensuring confidentiality at all times Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient correspondence Uphold strict infection control standards in line with health and safety regulations Ensure the clinical environment remains clean, organised, and fully stocked with supplies

Qualifications

Experience or training in patient care within a healthcare or dental setting is desirable (not essential for trainees) Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written Understanding of basic nursing principles and practices relevant to dental care Confidence using IT systems for record keeping and appointment management Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively Compassionate nature with a genuine interest in providing exceptional patient support Ability to work well within a team and adapt to the fast-paced environment of a busy dental practice
