We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dental practice. The successful candidate will support dentists during procedures, ensure patient comfort, and maintain high standards of hygiene and organisation within the clinic. Duties

Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, ensuring smooth workflow and patient comfort Prepare treatment rooms by sterilising instruments and ensuring all necessary equipment is ready Provide pre- and post-treatment care instructions to patients Maintain accurate patient records using IT systems, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations Support with administrative tasks such as appointment scheduling and patient correspondence Uphold strict hygiene and safety standards in line with health regulations Offer reassurance and support to anxious patients, demonstrating excellent communication skills Manage stock levels of dental supplies and ensure proper storage

Skills

Strong patient care skills with a compassionate approach towards patients of all ages Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written Basic IT skills for managing patient records and administrative tasks Good organisational skills to coordinate appointments, sterilisation schedules, and stock management Knowledge of nursing practices within a dental setting is desirable but training can be provided for the right candidate Ability to work effectively as part of a team, demonstrating professionalism and reliability Must be GDC registered Must have valid indemnity insurance
