Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse on a permanent basis in Wimbeldon. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care while assisting the dental team in various clinical and administrative tasks. This position requires strong communication skills, organisational abilities, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and patient comfort.

This role combines

paediatric & sedation nursing

with

general dental nursing

, giving you variety, specialist exposure, and the chance to shine.

Mondays & Thursdays (08:00 - 18:30)

- Work alongside our Paediatric Specialist, supporting young patients (and their parents) through their dental visits, including inhalation sedation sessions.

Other 3 days (rotating between 08:00 - 17:30 and 08:00 - 16:30)

- Assist our general dentists and other specialists (orthodontics, endodontics) as needed.

What We're Looking For

It would be

if you have prior experience in paediatrics or inhalation sedation -- but if not,

we'll provide full training

. What matters most is your approach and energy:

Minimum 2 years' post-qualification dental nursing experience

GDC Registered Dental Nurse

- essential. A genuine love for working with children, with a calm, caring manner. A proactive problem-solver who uses initiative, thinks outside the box, and delivers beyond expectations. Adaptable and confident whether assisting with specialist procedures or putting nervous patients at ease. Organised, reliable, and a positive team player. Excited to learn -- training in inhalation sedation provided, plus future opportunities in radiography, phlebotomy, and more.
