Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our highly sought after dental practice situated in Central London with convenient access to Kings Cross train station. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, assisting the dental team, and ensuring a smooth and efficient operation within the clinic. This position requires strong organisational skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff alike.

Responsibilities

Assist dentists during various dental procedures, ensuring that patients are comfortable and informed throughout their treatment. Maintain a clean and sterile environment by adhering to health and safety regulations. Prepare treatment rooms and sterilise instruments before and after procedures. Manage patient records accurately, ensuring all information is up-to-date and confidential. Schedule appointments and follow up with patients regarding their treatment plans. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure seamless patient flow within the practice.

Skills

Strong patient care skills, demonstrating empathy and understanding towards patients' needs. Proficient in English, both written and verbal, to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues. IT skills for managing patient records and scheduling systems efficiently. Excellent organisational abilities to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills to liaise with patients, dentists, and other staff members effectively. Previous experience as a nurse or in a healthcare setting is advantageous.
